The Bermuda Chess Association (BCA) is a non-profit organization whose mandate is to:

Encourage and support amateur chess play throughout Bermuda

Sponsor chess tournaments in accordance with the laws of the World Chess Federation (FIDE)

Promote, in every conceivable way, chess play in Bermuda

Maintain recognition as the official federation for chess in Bermuda

Represent Bermuda in all matters pertaining to chess
